Shona Lee

Shona Lee is a Darwin-based artist and designer who was born and raised in the Territory. She has been creating art for as long as she can remember. As an adult, she moved to Brisbane to live and studied a Bachelor of Communication Design at Billy Blue College of Design. Shona Lee has been working professionally as a full-time artist and designer for over 10 years, with experience in design studios based on the Gold Coast and in Darwin and as well as freelancing.

When it comes to creating her artwork, Shona Lee works with a wide range of mediums. She utilises digital programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Procreate, as well as tactile mediums like acrylic paint, spray paint, pencils and markers. The influence of growing up and living in tropical climates like Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Darwin is evident in her artwork. Her pieces exude a vibrant and warm summer feel, often featuring floral graphics.
