'Extending the Olive Branch' by Niesha Korman

Niesha is an uprising artist with a start from Alice Springs, now based, thriving and flourishing in Darwin using their creativity and “Jack of all media” ability to help cultivate the Palmerston art scene with a local group called art jam. They jump between digital, traditional and acupunctural styles and can never be deterred from giving big a go.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A moment between two birds through the vivid background of the harrowing world. They fly together carrying a branch of life, extending to eachother. They are birds, they fly in the same sky, they wish for safe nesting and for their young to fly free all the same.
