Kris Keogh

Kris is a musician, painter and digital artist based in Nhulunbuy, Arnhem Land, NT. He has been exhibiting since 2008, and has had several solo shows in both Australia and Japan.
Recently he's been on visuals for King Stingray, at the 2023 NRL Grand Final, Parliament House and at every major music festival in Australia.

He is influenced by all things kawaii, op art, and Australian Indigenous painters, especially from North East Arnhem Land and from the Central Desert region. His favourite artist is the late N.Yunupingu.
You might know his visual style from his work for Happy Yess, East Arnhem Live, Megabass, Viva La Body, the Funbus, King Stingray and more.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This piece is the first immersive laneway on the DSAF map, Kris describes it as the 'monocrhome rainbow teleportation system'.
